Terry's Cup Career.
Terry has been competing in the NASCAR Winston Cup series for over 20 years, having won 22 races and two Winston Cup Championships (1984 & 1996). He has won The Winston all-star event (1988 & 1999), The Busch Clash (now known as Bud Shootout), and has victories on each category of racetrack on which the series is currently run. Over the years he has driven nearly all makes of cars, for a variety of different owners and sponsors.

Terry's BUSCH Career
Terry has competed on and off in the NASCAR Busch Grand National series since the mid 1980's. He started off with a bang, winning in his first-ever start in the series in 1985. Terry formed his own team, Labonte Racing, Inc., and built it into one of the most powerful Busch Series teams of the 1990's. Terry has many Busch Series victories, including near dominance in BGN road course events.

Terry's CAMPING WORLD SERIES Career
Terry has only run three races in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (then called the SuperTruck Series), but he made them count, finishing second and third in his first two starts before breaking thru with a pole and a win in his third start.

IMSA/ROLEX SPORTS CAR RACING PAGES
In 2005, Terry returns to sports car endurance racing for the first time since the late 80's where he ran several races with his car owner at the time, Billy Hagan. Two of his most prestigious wins came in IMSA competition. In 2005, Terry is running three races with brother Bobby for Doran Racing
